The Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program (CMU Portugal) activities are funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), supported by the Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Portuguesas (CRUP), and co-financed by industry partners and by Carnegie Mellon University.
The Board of Directors of the program is responsible for policy oversight with respect to the overall objectives of the partnership. The activities of CMU Portugal are regularly reviewed by an external review committee (ERC), formed by independent members from the international scientific community. The ERC periodically produces an evaluation report to the FCT and to the Board of Directors.
Furthermore, projects funded under the CMU Portugal program are subject to midterm and final evaluations, conducted by an international panel through both progress reports and in-person discussion meetings.
Below are several documents that assess the impact of the program, including all the evaluation reports produced by the ERC.
