CMU Portugal Summit 2022 Overview Video

The CMU Portugal Program 2022 Summit “New Frontiers in tech” gathered over 170 members of its community for two days of discussion on cutting-edge topics in ICT.

The Conference was, above all, about getting people together: Ph.D. students and alums who now have leading positions in companies still connected to the Program, Researchers and Faculty from CMU and Portugal, partners from Industry, non-corporate entities, and Institutions of the Portuguese R&D System that are a key part of the Program.

CMUPortugal Summit 2022 - New frontiers in Tech brought together experts from Portuguese universities, Carnegie Mellon University and companies to present research progress in areas as diverse as Health, Cibersecurity, Forests, Artificial Intelligence, Language Technologies, Machine learning, among others.

Participants joined the discussion and explore the New Frontiers in Tech: Improving machine learning and applications in healthcare; AI for extracting value from data; Understanding conversations to improve productivity; From the edge to the cloud; and others.
